We pursue trophy class salmon as they migrate down the west coast of Vancouver Island. At Rippingale's Fishing we have a vast salmon fishing and halibut fishing area on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Our area extends from the inside waters of Nootka Sound British Columbia to the open ocean off Friendly Cove and as far north as Esperanza Inlet.

When Chinook salmon fishing in Nootka Sound we often include open ocean bottom fishing. An angler can expect to catch big red snapper (yellow eye), ling cod and halibut.
